Question #1. Hi Ms. Frei, side question regarding from your experience in deployment. Do you often require the help of social scientists to help you introduce the tech to people? Hi! Thanks for the question! Yes, most of the time actually, we end up working with social scientists especially before we cascade the findings/tech solution/or recommendation to the ground or to decision makers. And kicking it up a notch, we also include experts on policy (usually lawyers, government officials) and domain experts (like, doctors of medicine, health professionals if the tech solution is related to health e.g. our HIV/AIDS mapping). So I would say that it is imperative to work with a domain expert when you design and apply your study/innovation to ensure that it's inclusive, effective, and efficient. If we look at many studies kasi, studies done in isolation usually do not work very well in real-life scenarios. But with a bit of collaboration, that study/finding could have impacted a lot of lives. So, let's collaborate! P.S. We also engage the end-users a lot as well. E.g. Civil Society Organizations. I hope this helps! Frei
